Nicole Mevorakh, MS, LMFT

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I draw from cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and family systems approaches, integrating mindfulness and the mind–body connection. My work is grounded in a deep understanding of relationships and life transitions, offering thoughtful, personalized care for individuals, couples, and families.

I began my professional career in education, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a California Clear Teaching Credential before teaching elementary school within the public and private sector for nearly a decade. That early foundation in child development and family systems naturally led me to pursue a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Counseling and transition fully into therapeutic practice. I later directed a parenting center, facilitating groups and offering guidance and support to families seeking clarity and connection.

Over the past 15 years in private practice, I have worked extensively with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relational challenges, and significant life transitions. While my practice is inclusive, I have developed a particular focus on supporting women — helping them cultivate resilience, confidence, mindfulness, and a stronger sense of self during periods of growth and change.

My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based work, integrating mindfulness and positive psychology in a way that feels practical and empowering. Therapy is a confidential, intentional space where insight deepens and meaningful transformation can unfold.
